Hi All Just found this nice little tool from Google. Its called the Google Notebook and it works with your internet browser. Not only does it work like a standard notepad - you can also grab text from a web site very easily and add it to your notes, great from grabbing information from Ancestry re your rellie in different Census years. And because its online your notes can go wherever you are :) The URL is http://labs.google(.)com/ Remember to remove the brackets. When you get to the page select Google Notebook. HTH ... Paul

I've used it already, reading these tips threads it's handy for jotting down websites that people recommend.

The best thing is you just hightlight some text - then right click and you can add it as a note. It will even save a hyperlink to the original site. very useful...Paul

Thanks for that Paul, I've just downloaded it. For some reason, I always get a bit fuddled with My Favourites (perhaps I could blame it on the pc and not me?!), so this will be a much easier option especially being web-based and therefore accessible from anywhere. Mandy :)
