sarah, fab,isn't it.......his name was Conlin+he murdered his grandparents....buried them alive in fact! he was hung in durham.......it cost me £25 to find all the gory details,but it was worth it! sadly i couldn't find any more :-( rachie am i a saddo or what?!!!!!!!!

Good gracious Rachie - what are the chances of that??? There weren't many executed (in the grand scheme of things) Thanks Carol, yes it is really interesting. It's strange how many women killed small children and were listed as NOT being related to their victims... Sarah :-)

WHOOAA what a fab site.........i think i've found 1 of my rellys!!!!!! he has a distinct surname+was from the same area as those in my tree.......can't wait to slot my murderer in! rachie

Hi Carol, Just been on the website, oh how awful, the first one I looked at was a female who murdered her 3 year old child. Very interesting finding out about these things, must have been very hard to live in those days!! Betty

www.murderfile.net very interesting site details of criminals that were executed in uk betwwen 1900 and 1964 ; click on each persons name for details of crime. Carol
