There is an interesting thread on the records site about people offering to take photos. I added my bit for Australia. I've had some photos sent to me from Scotland, from Jilly on this site, and was really thrilled. I don't want to hijack the other board, but am happy to start one here.

great idea. i have taken photos for people in the past. they have been of graves and churches and houses or even just the street name if the house is no longer standing. i think its a great idea. if anyone wants any photos of Leigh lancashire or St Helens merseyside just let me know love linda x

Hi I can do High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire area, Would love to find someone who can do Shoreditch/Bow/Bethnal Green areas of London and Rushden/Wellingborough/Little & Great Staughton areas of Northants/Beds. Regards Looby

I did put up a thread some time back about a site called Random Acts of Genealogical Kindness. On there people all over the world offer to take photos of gravestones and look up info.
