I have just bought FTM2005. I am liking it so far, but have a few queries which I couldn't figure out. Can anyone help? 1. I couldn't see a box anywhere for occupation - is there one? I imported my tree from GR, so the info should be there, but I couldn't find it. 2. All of the ways I could see to view the tree only showed direct line ancestors and not all the siblings etc. Is it possible to display everyone as you see on the GR tree? 3. What is the scrapbook function for? If anyone can help, I'd be most grateful. Victoria.

Right, the occupation comes under 'facts'. Click on 'edit' under your persons name and a whole choice of tabs comes up including facts. Put occupation in type of fact and just fill in the details. You can add the occupation or any other sort of detail., eg baptism, each time you find out more. The Scrapbook is to add photos or images, eg census images, marriage certs etc. - you save a photo or image to your puter then click on scrap book, browse for the photo and then edit it if you want (FTM will talk you through it) and then add it. (When you create your family home website - click internet then create homepage - the photos can be exported to that too. Homepage is a misnomer cos you export the whole lot of your tree and information and its sources and all this is produced in a book form on the internet. Not sure what the prob is with the tree as you go to tree charts or reports and choose any sort you want to do. (Put your cursor on the icons at the top of the ftm page to see what they are for) An all in one tree will show the whole lot. You can also add a time line behind the names to show that your GGPx11 married when Romeo and Juliet was being performed for the first time - things like that - just play about with it. Use the help tab to give you lots of info aswell.
