Thanks Danielle, Excuse my ignorance, but what is NLA? The name I'm after is Sophia Dettrich. She was born 1860 in Qld, at a place called Tarewinnabar, Weir River. It is near Goondiwindi. I think her parents may have come from Germany and had problems with langauge, so the spelling may be a bit out. The above spelling is what was on her son's birth cert. She is my g grandmother. |
