Hi, did you search under the names saxton or Murphy? Saxton is more likely to be mistranscribd than Murphy. suzanne

Ok How thick am i ive just gone back to widen my search and noticed ive put in 1845 - 1854 instead of 19. Im searching using the Saxton name as it is the least popular out of the two then trying to cross ref them

Now looked from 1940 - 1958 under the name Saxton with no luck, will take your advice and try again under Murphy

Just a thought if you are struggling to find the marriage:- Just because it had her maiden name, doesn't necessarily mean they were married. If she wasn't married, then her surname would still be her maiden name. Also try searching for Hannah as it may be mistranscribed, also Wm for William - that short form is used a lot for William.
