can some one tell me how i can find a copy of birth cert for someone born in milan italy in 1854?

Hi Louis, Do you actually need a certificate, or is a look-up enough? I'm intending to go to the LDS centre in Vercelli sometime next week, and they should have the Milan BMD records for 1866-1929 (or if they haven't got the films on the premises, they can order them). Don't know if I'll be able to find anything for 1854, though. If you'd like me to do a look-up for you, let me have full details.
