Hi, i am searching for an Eva Whitehead born around the 1900. Her father is called Armstrong Whitehead born in Hull. She had a brother called John A Whitehead and she never married or had children. The only person i can find matching this description is a Eva Whitehead quartet: jan/feb/mar 1904 9d 203 Could somebody please just put my mind at ease that i have found the correct person. Many thanks Jennie

I can't think of any way of checking other than to order the cert - possibly using the father's name as a checking point, so you only pay £3 if it's wrong. Christine

Thanks Christine, Just had another look and have found another 2 people of the same name born around the same date in exactly the same place so will have to keep having a good look round. Thanks Jennie

I am pretty certain that is the correct entry, her brother John Armstrong WHITEHEAD was also registered in Sculcoates in 1900. When you order the certificate, ask them to do a check on the parent's names. Jennifer

Both John A. in 1900 and Eva in 1904 are listed on Yorkshire BMD as sub-district Drypool, so I would think it is a good bet you have the right one too, but the only way to be certain would be to order the birth certificate. Kate.
