Hi Kathlyn, Have you tried the new tree program to see if this problem still occurs? If it does, and you only have a few people in your tree, you could delete them and start again....this may eliminate any errors you have in you tree. Deb |

Hi Deb, I have my grandmother and grandfather at the top of my tree, but I cannot add their siblings or my great grandparents. I have clicked on everything possible, I have even talked nicely to it, but absolutley, nowt!!!!! Kathlyn |

Hi Kathleen, I'm not too sure what to suggest?? What advice did the genes team give? I have just had a look at my own tree and add parents button is only highlighted when parents haven't already been added. Just a thought....will it allow you to add your Nan's (I think you said Nan) siblings? if it does, you could see if you can add parents through them....I hope that makes sense!! Deb |

Deb and Gordon, Been there, seen it,done it, and got the tshirt etc etc. I am having to send hard copies of my trees to prospective rellies, and I am sure that contacts view this with suspicion when i ask for a contact address. Kathlyn |

First try refreshing the browser. If that doesn't work, log out of the site and log back in again. If that doesn't work, close your browser and launch it again. If that doesn't work... I dunno... Gordon |

Before I sling this computer out of the window, can someone please tell me:-------- My family tree is stuck on my mother, the square is highlighted pink, I can go up to my grandmother but it will not allow me to add and of her siblings or her parents. The 'add parent' tab is stuck down and nothing will unstick it. Other than breaking a window by slinging this machine out of the window, please what do I do??? Kathlyn |
