Hi, Started putting my info in manually then I decided it would be easier to export from my GR Tree... Finally got it on my FTM but it opened a whole new Tree so now I have 2 Trees. There is different info on both my Tree's. Is there anyway I can merge them?? Been playing for hrs and it's driving me mad. Totally lost the plot with it! Would have been quicker for me to manually type it in I know! |

I'm sure there is but I can't remember how. You need Ron O'Neill, he'll be able to tell you. Kath. x |

You need to Merge the data in the GEDCOM from GR with the tree in FTM ratehr than opening the file. Open your tree in FTM and then File | Append/Merge, Change file type to GEDCOM (*.GED) and browse to the downloaded file from GR. You are then taken through a Wizerd asking which details you wish to merge. Hope that this makes sense. |
