A really big pat on the back for Jean!!!!! It makes a lovely change to see someone wanting to find out how a record was traced! You will go far!!! Did you manage to find Emily with George on FreeBMD?? Just click the page number (411) next to his name (as others have said!) Oops, we crossed......you did it!! Merry

Thanks Suzanne, Tracy and Mary I'VE DONE IT. You're all great I obviously did it the long way round by when looking for the wife I just put the volume and page number with no name of the husband !! Never thought of just clicking the page number that's me all over 'gotta make it hard' Thanks again Jean

Jean Click on the page number it will bring all the other people up on the same page. Hopefully one of these is the spouse. Good Luck Tracy

thanks Suzanne, that's what I'm doing but it just keeps bringing up the name of one person, not the wife. I'll must be doing something wrong It says 'Have you found one person now find the spouse' but if you don't know the spouse ?? I'll just have to keep practicing Jean

I put a request on the board last night and the answer was given to me in a second by the brilliant lot on here. Can Gail, Dawn, Porkie Pie or anyone else that knows tell me how they found and put together the two people in the marriage? The thread was 'Marriage needed please'. When I look for George Milburn on Free BMD original images he is there (Auckland 10a 411 Sept 1906) but not transcribed on Ancestry marriages. His wife Emily Bevan is on Ancestry but the only other person on the page is someone called Minnie or Lizzie! Yet they gave me the answer so quickly, how on earth did they get the pair together!!! I'd been trying for weeks. Don't know how I managed before coming on here. Jean
