This is My Grandad whom died before I was born .He was born to Matilda Ellen Nicholson 13th october 1892-3 out of wedlock Later when He was about 3years old Ellen Married an Albert Jesney. That When he was known as George W Jesney and stayed like that for quite a while and did not learn about his other surname untill he jioned up Army I think ! In 1901 census they live at cawkwell hill farm . Albert Jesney Head 36 ag labour Ellen Jesney wife 33 George Jesney son 09 Jenie Jesney Dau 06 Bertha Jesney Dau 05 Henrey Jesney Son 02 Albert Jesney son 01 I would Love any help possible to find what happen to the rest of the Family Many thanks Sue |

The only way to find info after 1901 is either by trawling the BMD records, or looking for those eligible to vote on the Electoral Roll. For the latter, you would have to know an approximate (at least) address. Reg |

hiya, excuse me for appearing dense, but what info are you after exactly??? anything after 1901 you will need to use electoral rolls, and even then, you had to be over 30 to be on them, you could try searching ancestry's complete index, which is free, for possible BDM's anything before 1901, you will need to buy the marriage cert, to get bride/groom fathers names julie |
