Those wildcard ideas should be able to pick up results - including PARAMOUR, of course. Christine |

1. Do a search on freebmd for Para* and Parra*. Note any missing quarters. 2. For those missing quarters use the images on Ancestry. Unfortunately, for most of the 1860s, age at death wasn't given. South Molton is the registration district, but it is always possible that he died away from home and of course his death would be registered where he died, not where he lived. |

Ancestry have the GRO index images sort-of indexed. I don't think you have to be a paid subscriber to access them. Christine |

I have been looking for a death on my ggg grandfather Robert Paramore born 1811 South Molton. I've looked on Ancestry, and free bmd and family search.org but nothing, he was on the 1861 census living with wife and family in Bridgwater, and she was widow in 1871 census, do anyone have any idea's as to where I can look next without having to resort to a search by records office? (not that i'm tight i've just spent £28 on another search and certificates!) if I spend anymore we won't be eating this week!! Any suggestions will be appreciated Regards Michelle |
