Mel, Eureka Family Tree Maker supports Gedcom Import/Export so it should be able to import the file you have received. To avoid it affecting your existing tree, start Eureka, find the Import function, it should ask you if you want to start a new tree, say yes to this and give it a file name and import the new Gedcom - which must be saved somewhere on your PC. The above is not based on knowledge of Eureka but on several other family history programs which all work in very similar ways. Paul |

You should be able to open it with your family tree software. Which one are you using? |
