The death record in 1977, Jan Q, B'ham vol 32 p 1566 gives DoB 06 SE 1910 - assuming that's the right one. You can find it by looking at the GRO index images on Ancestry. They're sort-of indexed, do you can choose the year to look and a name, and it will find the pages where the name might be. There's a likely birth registration in the Dec Q of 1910 - but, again, it may not be the one, even though it looks plausible! Christine |

Don't forget to look for the first name Francis. He may have been registered as that at birth. Frank is the normal abbreviation for Francis. Anne |

Trying to find out anything. No my Gran is awfully secretive so we think he was in prison esp. during the war as he never mentioned fighting etc. He was definitely born in Sept. |

What information are you trying to find out? Have you got his birth or death certs? If not, you need to look for a birth registered in the Sep or Dec quarter of 1910 in Birmingham area. The volume number would be 6d. nell |

Hi, I'm back! My mom & I rae trying to track her dad, my grandpa. We know that he was born on 6 September 1910 & died in 1977. His name was Frank Holland 7 we believe he spent his entire life in Birmingham, definitely died there. I've searched frank Holland but so many results come back! |
