Walter Henry Knight born in India Thanks Helen for giving me the information this afternoon, it got me hunting on the Surrey trail. I have managed to trace a lot of rellies for my 2nd Cousin in Australia. Because you gave me the name of his wife born in the Isle of Wight Annie L Knight I was able to search using her name and found her and hubby on the 1901 census and his name has been transcribed as Walker Knight. I now have more information to work on. A big Thank youuuuuuuuuuuuuu |

Helen is a great help on the site - and a great contributor, too. If you're hunting IoW folks - have you found the IoW BMD site? It's very good. You can find the link via www.ukbmd.org.uk - using the ''Local BMD'' icon off the left-hand menu bar. Christine |

Helen I think it is as it shows the right date of birth and that he was born in India. I Have emailed my cousin to see if she can give me more info to make sure this is the one. she did tell me that his father was called Edward Knight and I found both of them on the 1891 census. Thanks for you help. |
