Hi guys, I have just bought the Who do you thik you are? Family Trre maker delux computer package which should arrive in a few days. I just wondered if anyone had any reviews on it at all. Thanks Jess

I think it is basically the 2005 version of family tree maker which is a very good programme used by lots of people on here. It also comes with a free trial subscription to ancestry which is useful as long as you remember to cancel it after the trial if you don't want it. I have got Ftm 2006 which I find easy to use.

It's a fine programme,but be sure to register it.This then allows you to merge all the web search facilities into your tree,and make sure that you use the online tutorial facilities if you are unsure of anything. The basic programme is very easy to use,it is all the extra things that you can do which need looking at more closely,scrapbooks for individuals and marriages etc,relationship calculator and the several tree types that you can print off. When it arrives have a good play around and see what you can do,when you start you won't know where to finish!! Glen
