Oh merry, only just seen this. Well it shows old mans GGFx2 married 4 times as he is a widower on this one in 1849 - what the hell did he do to these women? On top of that - oh joy for hubby - not only is GGFx2 a gunmaker so is his father GGFX3 (hubbys first job was a gunmaker and his only hobby is going to groups of vintage arms target shooting - making their own black powder and whatever - Ive never gone with him!!). Right, back to the damn painting of hallway. Oh Glen, well you could always help paint the coving which is all little notches just designed for paint to drip off. |

Hi there, dont know where he was a gunmaker, the son - GGFx2 is a journeyman, hence self employed but they both came from Birmingham which hubby tells me was THE centre for gunmaking. |

Just to update - bad news, having rushed to repaint hall, landing and stairs, the carpet fitters came, said the carpet had a fault and they would have to come back in two weeks. Good news, have ordered my kitchen units, well pleased Belfast sink all the appliances and hand painted units, woo hoo. Oh and I get a free dishwasher - never had one before. woo hooo. |
