My mum told me her distant cousin's wife was called Dora, and guess what her name turned out to be on the indexes? Dorothea! Kate.

Reginald Bryan married a Dora ? Reginald was born c1904 (he is not born on the 1901 census) I am just trying to find some closer living relatives on that side as its got me stumped. Unfortunately the family was not real close in England even though they live down the street from their grandparents they saw them twice a year!

Could be that she was called Dora as a pet name for Dorothy. I've found an Eliza marriage in my family, which has Elizabeth in another version. nell

I think I have found my great grandfathers brothers marriage on LDS. Family info have him marrying a Dora. On the site it says Dorothy, would this be the same lady?
