Hi Heather - you seem to be a bit of an expert on this so I thought I'd ask you. (I've e-mailed them but no response)**************When I put my tree on the internet it starts with some random person (the son of my g g g g aunt) How do I change it so that I am in the middle?**********************this is the addy (in case it's not clear) http://familytreemaker.genealogy(.)com/users/c/o/n/Tom-Connelly-West-Yorkshire/

Cor thats a hard one - in the middle? Dont know Tom. You can open it on your name and then produce the report/tree but I dont think you mean that do you. Lets hope someone will come up with the right info for you.

No - if you go onto my website and click on INterneTree - shouldn't it come up on me - not the child of my g g g g aunt? - I'll change the title so more people will look,

Just had a look at mine and mine starts with someone else. I can't be sure if it's alphabetical or the most recent birth (the person fits both categories). Glen

You can make an interne tree on your ftm and then export that.

If your talking about your tree in FTM and not on GR it all depends who's family page you are looking at when you form the tree. Ron www.genealogyprinters*com

I think what you see is the first name in your file. If create a gedcom and open it in notepad you will see what I mean. I have no idea how the name comes to be the first on the file, but it always the same one.
