Hiya Brenda, Normanton has been split up into two areas - wakefield have some and Pontefract have some. If you google for Wakefield Registry office or Pontefract Registry Office you can then ring them and ask if they hold the records you want. My Normanton lot are in the Wakefield one (Co-operative Street) and they are always really kind and friendly and do photocopies of the originals with signatures on too! (don;t know about Ponty)
