Those elusive Wisenesses! With help from here I managed to find the Wiseness family in the 1891 census indexed as Weseners. Now on that census, son John Patrick Wiseness is 18 years old. There is no further trace of him on 1901 census or in any death indexes as far forward as 1932 - not that I can find anyway. Soooooooo, if anybody here fancies a go at finding him that would be delightful. I have never know such an elusive name in my genealogy as this! Meanwhile I will keep hunting. Lyn x |

BTW - John was born in 1871, by 1901 his mother was a widow living with her daughter and family in Liverpool. John and his sister Mary Ann were born in Liverpool. |
