1871 census look up please.

Hi all, im hoping someone can do a look up for me please for JAMES MORLEY, born WEST DERBY, LIVERPOOL 1859 so his age would be 11/12. His mum and dad were both dead so he was an orphan. His brother THOMAS was in the Workhouse Aighton, Clitheroe, and his sister was in an Orphanage in LANCASTER so he could be anywhere? but I think he should be in LANCASHIRE. thanks for any help.. Dea, hi, havnt been on for a while, no jokes either, but Im back. Mums name MARGARET, dads name ROBERT, he could have had a step brother living with him JOSEPH GLOVER. Also his grandad was WILLIAM MORLEY and his other grandad was THOMAS GLOVER. is that enough for you? LOVE TED XXX |

Dea 1861 RG9/2736 FOLIO 96 PAGE 33 the family is there at 15 Rock Mount, WEST DERBY. Robert Margaret Joseph Alice Jane James and Thomas. Could be mis-spelt 'mosley' perhaps. only a guess though.TED. |

Dea, both ROBERT and MARGARET had died by 1871 so that the end of them. The children were all orphansby 1871 Alice was working as a domestic in LIVERPOOL in 1871 JANE was in LANCESTER Orphanage Thomas was in the workhouse in CLITHEROE, But ive no idea what happened to JAMES or JOSEPH GLOVER son and step son. I know about JANE right up to her death, and about ALICE right up to her death TED. |
