Several years ago, I upgraded to FTM 11 so I could make a CD backup. It’s been great. However, last weekend, my husband changed the disc drive to a CD/DVD rewrite drive and my FTM programme will no longer do a CD backup. Will the2005 FTM upgrade allow me to back up on a CD/DVD rewrite drive? Linda |

Thanks Heather. Do you have FTM 11? That's what I'm using and it now won't do a CD backup. Linda |

Locate your FTM file, usually located in the FTM folder in the Programs File. Right click on the icon, left click, Send To, left click CD Drive. Ron. www.genealogyprinters*com |

It worked. It took two tries. The first time, I put in a CD-R. Once I realized I needed to use a CD-RW, it worked just fine. Thanks for your help Ron. Linda |
