If you have free Ancestry for a period of 1 or 3 Months ring Ancestry to confirm you want the extra time when your sub runs out , as some are being told they can have others are being told forget it. I just rang a Katie 0800-404-9723 she was most helpful and has made a note , so when my sub does run out I will on ringing to confirm this get an extra 3 Months , dont just rely on it happening . |

when I emailed them got a standard reply saying hope your problem is sorted, but it wasnt so rang them, did you get a proper reply then ??? |

Well, that's good to know, thanks girls! I already use FTM 2005 but have lost main disc so had planned to buy single disc for £9.99 just so I can open back up discs in case of PC problems. The 2006 comes with a Scottish Parish disc that might be useful, but the thought of a wasted 3 month free sub to Ancestry rather put me off - worth it now though! I know, you're all thinking 'typical Scot'! Well, so be it, just seemed a waste, that's all! Christine |

actually Heather I wasnt going to mention it , but They said they had sent it last week, and as you hadnt offered me any I was most upset.So I wont be sharing any of mine with you either . I notice your thread is still running I am surprised you arent away sunning yourself somewhere , while looking for a Villa in Spain, where you can buy yourself a Laptop and sit in the sun all day doing your research. !!!!!!!! While the fivers keep coming . |

Thanks for the info. I already have ancestry and have just purchased FT 2006. i will email them and ask for it to be added onto my subscription. I would never have thought of this. I would just have let it go and not bothered. |
