I'd more or less assumed I wouldn't get beyond my husband's Gx2-g-father, John CHAPMAN. I mean - it's hardly an unusual name, is it! BUT - as a result of my M-i-L's having kept hold of old correspondence between her father and a namesake 2nd cousin in Galveston,Texas, ca 1902-03, I've been able to contact folks (remote cousins of my husband) who've given me another three generations back, and also 7 siblings of John C ( husband's Gx3-aunts/uncles plus their families), and his aunt and uncle (husband's Gx4-uncle and aunt) and quite a lot of their descendants! WOW! - I hope you all find something as amazing. Christine |
