Hi a journeyman is someone who served an appenticeship in a trade or worked as a qualified tradesperson, a journeyman might have become a master with their own business but many remained employed.

Draper = Dealer in fabrics and sewing goods - in use today. From the French 'drap-de-Berry', a woollen cloth coming from Berry in France info from http://rmhh*co*uk/occup/index.html replace stars with . Kath x

Thanks for the offer Kath, but I´ll leave it for now. Am using hubbies computer - family tree on my computer, which has gone in for repair today - so can´t give you full details to work with. Am just going through some certificates that arrived yesterday and trying to find a few more ancestors - at the moment without a lot of luck !!!
