GR suppresses all incidences of a [dot] followed immediately by the letters C and O. This is true, not only for Co and Com, but also for Cornwall, Colorado, CofE, Cooper, and any other such word you might find. If you put a piece of punctuation in - say an asterisk * - and warn folks to remove it, then the problem is solved. Christine |
