Im so excited but also dubious, ive been trying to find a death entry for May Evans, hubbys grt grandmother, she died when hubbys grandad was young and i found a death entry for 1904 in easington Durham and i couldnt work out why she would be over there, well thanks to merry finding a connection with Ada head living with Alfred and sarah meredith in birmingham 1871 (who could be sarahs illegitamte daughter she would also be the step sister of may meredith) Ada married a Benjemin Edwards in 1888 in wales, in 1901 they are living in Durham RG13/4667 foilo 85 page 17 so i may have found her at last sending for death cert, fingers crossed

Karen Fingers crossed! Quite often I've dismissed something as being unlikely only to find its true. Conversely, the obvious connections are sometimes totally wrong!!! Good lark, this genealogy, what?! nell

Lol yes Nell, ive been up most the night wondering if im on the right track, i couldnt understand why she would be over that side of the country when in 1900 she had hubbys grandad in pontypool, so im guessing she visited her sister or moved over there then died, until i get the cert i wont know.
