FTM 06 Help Pls

Hi all I'm still a FTM newbie so pls bear with me! When I am doing searches for likely matches, sometimes I have an arrow so I can set them to 'ignore, follow up' etc but other times I don't. How do I do this and why isn't the arrow thing always there for me to do it? What am I changing that makes it go away?!?! Thanks.

I think the arrow 'thingy' is not available for BMDs. It is available for census information and One World Tree etc.
