Claire, whilst you are searching on Ancestry, if you see that a quarter is missing, then click on any quarter then at the top you will see, You are here: Search > England & Wales, Marriage Index: 1837-1983 > 1912 > Q3-Jul-Aug-Sep > click on the year e.g. 1912 then you will see all the available quarters, click on the quarter you are looking for, and then you click on the first letter of the surname, and search from their. I am looking for a marriage between EMMA PARKER and ALBERT HOWLETT between 1910 and 1920 in Northamptonshire, possibly Kettering I have looked on Free BMD and Ancestry. I could not find a couple of quarters (1912 AMJ and 1917 JFM) I can't seem to find it, but I know it should be there somewhere. Fresh eyes appreciated. TIA Claire xx |
