think you may have the wrong year as this is the only one that comes up for 1917 or 1918. No Surname Forename1 Forename2 Forename3 Mothers maiden name District Page No Event Quarter Year View Image 1 Thornton Stephen P Dawson Mansfield.7b 158 Birth 4 1918 If you can follow it.

Thanks everyone, not sure now, as the man I'm looking for died in WW2 aged 25 in July 1942......am I being a bit slow, or does that not quite work out? Mandy

Well I found the page on Ancestry!! But he isn't on it :o(( it's 1918 Q4 Thornton Stephen P Mothers name Dawson Mansfield. 7b 158 Merry

Does anybody have a spare unit on 1837 for this entry? It's not there on Ancestry, and I am looking for a Stephen Patrick Thornton, and I'm trying to find his mothers maiden name, and where he was born. Hoping someone can help. Mandy
