I am trying to find in 1901 a 19/20yr old called Mary A O'Hanlon, bear in mind she may have knocked the O off, she was also known as Minnie and was born late 1881 in Middlesbrough. She was'nt at home in 1901. She is believed to have worked in a pub in Middlesbrough, possibly even in 1901, the pub may have been the Kings Head. I don't have her in 1891 either for some reason but do know she lived to adulthood. The closest one I can find is a Martha Hanlon on the 1901 site but unless her name has been transcribed wrongly this can't be her. Any ideas George

I have her parents Daniel and Ellen O'Hanlon, both born Ireland in 1881 & 1891, in 1901 Daniel appears in Middlesbrough with son Michael & daughter Elsie, mum Ellen and daughter Catherine were away in South Shields, as Ellens young niece died on census day, so they got completely missed off the census. I have Minnies baptism now, there was a lot of confusion for a while as to whether she really existed or whether she and her sister Elsie who it turned out was baptised as Ellen were all one and the same. But my gran was determined that Minnie was a seperate sister despite me for a while not finding a trace.
