I have just searched for duplicate files and hundreds have come up can I delete all of these as they are duplicates thanks

You have to err on the side of caution with duplicate files. I run xp pro, and it needs duplicate files, in the restore, and the services packs, to run properly. I did once use Toni arts cleaner, and to be honest never again! Deleted too many files, I now use coffee cup cleaner a much simpler software.

Thanks for your reply ,oh dear I think it may be too late I deleted a duplicate file it did say empty , but when I tried to undo it with that programme it did nothing and I cannot find the file in my recycle bin, how will I know if I did it wrong
