Does any one know where I can try and get an old photo/picture of The Skinners Arms Inn, Cockermouth, Cumbria, I have googled, and tried the Pub History Society.

Contact the relevant county records office, county library service or even a local history centre if there is one for that area. nell

Have you tried the English Heritage site? Try http*viewfinder.english-heritage*org*uk even if they don't have specific pics of The Skinner's Arms, they might have some good pics of Cockermouth in general. I've found some very useful pictures on this site. Regards Jacquie
