For the 1841 I just put in surname Cox born 1811 and trawlled through the names until Hatton jumped out at me. For 1851 searched for a Samuel born 1843 +/- a year in Middlesex and Coss jumped out at me. Sometimes the more unusual names are actually HARDER as they are more likely to be mistranscribed!!!! LOL Suzanne |

I have been trying to trace a Halton Cox (makes a change from all the freds and Alberts i've been tracing) on the Census. I have found him on the 1861 census born abt 1811 in northamptonshire but living in London. I cannot manage to find him on any previous census, any suggestions. |
