David Vale and Mary Saunders were married in St Giles Colchester 1850. I havent got Marys exact birthbut have on the 1851 census with David as his wife. She gives her year age as 25 (1826) and her place of birth as Colchester. Yep, thats them on the 1851 census

Felix (English, German, Romanian, Ancient Roman, Biblical) is a name in it's own right but it could be short for: FELICIANO m Italian, Spanish, Portuguese FELIKS m Russian, Slovene, Polish FELICIEN m French (m = male, Lanuages are the origins)

I have : David Vale on the 1851 Census for St Giles, Colchester with his family and his new wife Mary Saunders. I sent of for Mary & Davids marriage certificate. On it she gives her fathers name as Felix Saunders occupation Bricklayer. I was looking for Marys family in either 1851 or 1841?

It may be that he is deceased - they didn't always put deceased on the certificate.
