Baby 4 month old on 1901 what date was this census

Hi Valerie, if the birth was in December 1900 it may have been registered in Dec 1900 1/4, March 1901 1/4 or June 1901 1/4? Depending on how and when they got around to it? Suzanne |

The census was taken on the 31 st of March wasn't it? So if the baby was 4 months, birth would be end of November 1900 and should have been registered with 6 weeks so could be last qtr of 1900 or 1st qtr of 1901. Heather |

I really need to get a birth cert for 2 boys one born 1899 the other in 1900 according to the 1901 census, as the names are fairly common I am trying to narrow is down a bit so if a baby was down as 4 months old could he have been registered in the March quarter of 1900 or is that too early thanks |
