Could someone please explain to me what relation the Gt Granddaughter of my Gt Grandfather's elder sister would be to me? Sounds very complicated I know, but I can't think of a simpler way to put it! Many thanks Lyndsey

So, her great-grandparent and your great-grandparent were brother and sister? 3rd cousins! Merry

I have a chart to look it up on but it needs to know your common ancestor. I presume your common ancestor is your GG grandparents? In which case you are third cousins. Anne
