Hi there everyone one of my ancestors is listed in a london newpaper as havin his bankruptcy annulled. It says Dec 1st (and strangely mentioned agaion on the 8th) J whiteway, chudleigh, Miller, Bankruptcy Annulled where can i get more info on this? I don't have the newspaper details i got the info from my dfhs magazine. I definately know this to be my ancestor as his family was the only one of that name living in the town at the time. I would be greatful for any help at all Thanx |

that happened in my family in the 1800s and Merry kindly found the details for me in The Times and I bought the Paper to keep with my papers for them , fascinating reading it even mentioned the Judge who turned out to be a famous Bankruptcy Judge and I got a copy of a painting of him too. |

Just had a look at the digital archive and it isnt mentioned, as far as i can see any way. It does mention in the DFHS mag the info orginally came from illustrated london news. Any one ever heard of it? |
