Hi i dont whether this helps but i found this KINGS PARADE OKEHAMPTON ROAD KENSAL RISE LONDON NW10 North west London is not far out from Finchely as Finchley is today . If you take in to account that Finchley was an Urban district until 1932 all that might of changed is the post code it also was listed under the County of Middlesex dont know when but now it is in the london Bourgh of Barnet Diana

Thanks, Maureen. There does seem to be a Queen's Parade today, so maybe it changed its name? Jack

I don't live in Finchley, but I'm not too far away. I do know that Finchley Road in London has quite a few 'parades' and the postal addresses today are xxx Parade, Finchley Road so you may find it is on one of the long main roads if it still exists. I've looked on the A-Z but can't see a King's Parade. Maureen

I've got a relative b 1930 whose birth certificate shows her mother as living at Kings Parade, Finchley. I've looked at current maps and it doesn't seem to exist any more. Does anyone know where it is/was, please? Jack
