Anybody have access to information about children placed with families under emigration schemes in the 1880's? I'm trying to trace two little girls placed by Maria Rye in 1882. Sarah Stewart was sent to live with a farmer in Brussels, Huron and Catherine or Kate Stewart with Dan and Mary Phillips in Westminster Ontario.

I have 2 children who were sent by Dr Barnados to the USA in the late 1800s they were the youngest in the family so when the parents died nobody could look after them. There is a thread on here somewhere about Dr Barnados children will try and find it for you
