1871 census Slightly mis-transcribed on the index but I think this is the same family. Civil Parish: Westgate Ecclesiastical parish: St Philip County/Island: Northumberland Country: England Source information: RG10/5069 Registration district: Newcastle Upon Tyne Sub-registration district: Westgate ED, institution, or vessel: 2 Folio: 63 Page: 34 Household schedule number: 187 John Pallison abt 1839 Newcastle, Northumberland, England Son Westgate Northumberland Margaret Pallison abt 1820 Newcastle, Northumberland, England Head Westgate Northumberland Margaret E Pallison abt 1847 Newcastle, Northumberland, England Daughter Westgate Northumberland will check image best wishes Lesley

Whats interesting about the 1861 entry is the enumerator lists numbers 35, 37, 39 (presumably respectively) as a Woollen drapers, Ironmongers, and Bakers(? there's a mark across the word) Shop so you can place their home and the kind of street they lived on. Lesley
