Hi Pippa doll yes thats the right one, it's so funny how i have sat there so many times but have only just read the slabs (lol) it's amazing what i have started to notices since i have started my tree. i just thought they may mean something to someone on here. claire

Do you mean St John's Methodist Church? I use to work at the social building next to it ansd we sometimes had team meetings in their church hall. Believe it or not it is really lovely inside.

Hi Chunkle bunny, yes the one near the railway/tramline. are you from near here then? i have sat at those lights so many times and never read them, it's only since i've been doing my tree that i have started to notice things like this (lol). Thank you Kathleen for the nugde

Hi I have just been sat in a traffic jam , on a local road(somewhere i have sat many times) and noticed some stones in the local church building with laid by details on them. i just thought they may be of use to someone on here. The building is on David lane , Basford , Nottingham and the people 's names are Joshian Swift Mrs.C.H.Seely Alfred.Swift Henry.a.Piccin all stones laid on the 7th june 1892 I am willing to take photo's for any one with a link. i think there are 1 or 2 more but traffic started to move (lol) hope this help's someone. claire
