Uploading problems & non-responsvive Support

Am I the only one? I've been unable to up-load Gedcom files for many days now - not for the first time either! Daily emails to the Support Dept remain unanswered. Does anyone know what is going on? Why are we paying for something we cannot use?

There are quite a number of us having problems with uploading. Some GR have responded to. There last message was that they were aware of the fault and are trying to put it right hopefully soon. It's very frustrating as I have deleted a tree of 800 because it wouldn't upload. and now I am left with 1, just me. The only comfort is that we are not on our own Lynda

I have arrived at the conclusion that the GR Support team is non existent. It is an elaborate scam. They have had an asp problem for days which remains unsolved. I write asp all day. It would take me about 5 minutes. They are hopeless. I shall not renew, waste of money

I too am alone in my tree, as I deleted it thinking that might be the problem. I have had a message to say they are aware and trying to sort it within the next few days (that was yesterday). Here's hoping Kim

I have to agree with all replies, support is non-existent and it just is not good enough being unusable for extended periods. When will so-called service providers realise customers are tolerant and understanding as long as they are keep informed. As a relative newcomer on the site I wish I'd saved the subscription money - I will certainly not renew again.

When you talk of uploading gedcom files, is this anything to do with ftm2006 and the webspace you get with that? i have never been able to upload a thing there. I get a database error now, I have been in contact with them many times and they have never sorted it out - is this the same problem or a different thing?

the evaluation version limits the number of generations apparently. Anyone know anymore about this? I'm talking about family search by the way.

I've just checked site terms & conditions and guess what? Users have no rights whatsoever to even a part refund of their subscription for G R failings to provide a working service. Another of those contracts where all the 'rights' accrue to the seller and none for the users.
