JEFFERY Thomas Jeffery c1867 Originally possibly from Bridport Possibly found on 1901 census living at Devonport. Thomas's Father William living with him and his family. Daughter Sarah Jeffery was living with him in Exeter in 1911 when she married. Seemed to move around a lot in the devon area. Sarah married again in 1918 in East Stonehouse. |

My interests (all squashed above) FUGE & TAYLOR from Plymouth,Devonport, Stoke Damerel ,East Stonehouse areas from 1800s onwards Particularly interested in John FUGE,occ Cabinet Maker & his son Robert b 1822. Hi Kerri, I have Riggs, Winsor and a Taylor (b. uffington) but married a Winsor whilst he was in the RN. All are Stoke Demeral, East Stonehouse and Devonport. Also in Devon I have Pope, Weekes, Martin from Stokenham,Slapton and Dartmouth. Mo. |

KINSMAN, EARLE, WATSON, all Totnes area Particular stubborn is Nicholas Earle, b. about 1810-1820. He isn't on any census anywhere. I only know of his existence because of his own and his daughter's marriage certs, 1838 (Labourer) and 1858 (Mariner) respectively. A family tale says he was a Turnkey at Bodmin Gaol, and that he died and was buried at sea returning injured from the Crimean War. Pam |
