Hi Can anyone tell me if you can get any information on divorces? And where you would go for it? We are talking 1944 1945. Thanks janey |

You can get in touch with this address:- Principal Registry Of The Family Division 1st Avenue House 42-49 High Holborn WC2A 2LL Tel:020 7947 6000 They will do a 10 year search for a divorce. It cost £20 a couple of years ago, although if they don't find the divorce you don't get a refund. If possible they need the name of both parties and the date of the marriage. Kath. x |
