My MIL came from Suffolk/Norfolk border, but married in Edmonton) 1861 census has this: William Flanders abt 1836 Pancras, Middlesex, England Head St Pancras Middlesex Ellen Flanders abt 1833 Northam, Hertfordshire, England Wife Ellen Flanders abt 1859 Highgate, Middlesex, England Daughter Mary Flanders abt 1861 Pancras, Middlesex, England Daughter Looking at image, Ellen's place of birth could be Northaw, which is not far from Hatfield. (1841 does not give place of birth, only whether or not born in county) Next step is to obtain marriage cert and see if Ellen's father is James.
