Is it the follow on for this family? 1881 Ellen Ashford abt 1798 Somerset, England Lodger Aston Warwickshire Joseph Sice abt 1819 London, London, Middlesex, England Head Aston Warwickshire Selina Sice abt 1829 Somerset, England Wife Aston Warwickshire I would have expected that to be a mistranscribed name...... Any ideas of the usual spelling? Tice? Lice (surely not!!? LOL) Merry

In one census it says Taunton Somerset another says Clay Haydon.... Sorry i think its Joseph and Selina son and wife was in a mental hospital, im getting mixed up again They are Eliza and John B Sice but have found them in 1901 and they are with there family so it must have been after that

Don't forget (says I, who has lots of Victorian rellies in ''hospitals'')....many people were put in institutions who would never be there today, or would be easily treated today, but in those days were not understood............. I expect even if you were admitted sane, you wouldn't last very long?! Merry
