Thank you Sam. I will need to contact them to find out why I got the message alert because I certainly should not have to pay them anymore. Rgds, Jeanne

As far as I know, you can't view your tree held on FTM through Ancestry directly unless you upload a GEDCOM file created with FTM. All the link with Ancestry does is allow to to search for people with the same name as those on your FTM. Sam x

It's me again - right pest !! I just went into my FTM and got a message alert that said I have 30 days left to download from the Ancestry Internet site and will have to pay to continue downloading. I subscribed to Ancestry in February - and my OH bought me the FTM in March. I look up on the Ancestry site through my FTM, but to be honest I'm a bit of a novice at all this. I am doing something wrong aren't I ? I cannot view my tree on the diect Ancestry site - every time I look someone up it asks if I would like to 'start a tree with this person'. What should I do - I must be able to sync them. Rgds, jeanne
